Linda Ortiz : Director of Sales - FireRescue1 Academy : Linda Ortiz, Director of FireRescue1 & EMS1 Academies, oversees the activities of the Business Development Team. This team works directly with Fire Departments & EMS Agencies throughout the U.S. to identify electronic learning solutions to meet their training requirements and reporting needs. Linda has been leading online learning initiatives for eight years with an extensive background in online learning systems, content development and accreditation. Linda holds her Bachelor of Science, Business Studies from Kaplan University.
Bruce Bjorge is a 34-year fire service veteran with experience in the command and training positions with career, combination, volunteer, and military fire agencies. He currently is a Senior Account Representative for Lexipol and also serves at a Battalion Chief with the Western Taney County Fire District in Branson, MO. Previously he was the Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Program Specialist, HAZMAT Program Specialist, and is an active adjunct instructor with several program areas with the University of Missouri Fire & Rescue Training Institute. He has also served in multiple roles including seven years as the Asst Chief of Training with the Western Taney County Fire Protection District and 10 years as the Asst. Chief of the Public Education with the Logan-Rogersville FPD. He holds a Training Officer credential from the International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI) and has completed the Training Program Management Course from the National Fire Academy. Bruce has been an active instructor and evaluator for the past 28 years and is a regular presenter at state, regional, and national conferences and training events.
