The presenter will discuss the “What, How, and Why” of this National Fallen Firefighters Foundation document, briefly describing what a strategic vision actually means, how the NFFF document flows, how the Teaneck, NJ, Fire Department utilized it, and ultimately why they decided to implement it. The presenter will build on the four-terminal learning objectives—Initiating, Creating, Executing and Monitoring. The goal of the presentation is to teach the attendees about the NFFF document, so they become motivated to promulgate a similar committee in their own organizations.
