Jeffrey M. Happ is a 27-year veteran of the fire service, currently serving as the interim fire chief for the Columbus, OH, Division of Fire. As assistant chief, Happ was responsible for overseeing recruit training, in-service training, officer training, paramedic training and public CPR/first-aid training. He was also involved with improving and developing leadership training and organizing the division’s first Fire Cadet Class. Happ earned a bachelor of science in exercise science from Miami (Ohio) University and is working on a masters of public administration at Franklin University.
