Emergency Responder Safety Institute
Jack Sullivan, a 25-year veteran of the fire service, is the director of training for the Emergency Responder Safety Institute. He is a current member of the Safety, Health and Survival Section of the International Association of Fire Chiefs and the Fire Department Safety Officers Association. Sullivan is also a principal member of the NFPA Technical Committee for Traffic Incident Management Professional Qualifications. He is a subject-matter expert on roadway incident operations and emergency responder safety and promotes proactive strategies and tactics for protecting firefighters and EMS providers from being struck by vehicles while working on or near roadways.
