Timothy S. Cowan is a 27-year veteran of fire and emergency services, currently serving as deputy fire chief with the City of Oneida, NY, Fire Department. He is a member of the NFPA 1035 Technical Committee – Life Safety Educator. Cowan is active with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and is a New York State Advocate for the Everyone Goes Home program. He is a student in the Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy. Cowan earned an associate degree in fire and emergency services and a bachelor’s in fire and emergency management from the State University of New York at Empire State.
