Ben West is a career fire captain with the Gallatin, TN, Fire Department, where he has served for 15 years. He also works as deputy advocate manager for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s Everyone Goes Home Program. In that capacity, West delivers training programs for the NFFF and has presented at Firehouse Expo and FDIC and has been published in Firehouse Magazine. He is currently completing his fire science degree.
