Derek Robinson was appointed fire chief of Madison Township, OH, in October of 2019. He oversees a staff of 50 employees, and is responsible for the department’s strategic planning, budget and finance, staff development, community fire risk management, community education, and marketing. The department operates out of three stations, providing fire, rescue and EMS services to a jurisdiction that serves approximately 23,500 residents, and includes the cities of Canal Winchester and Groveport.
