Joe Leffe started his career in 2002 as third-generation firefighter with the city of Wheeling, WV. Since December of 2003, Leffe has been with Columbus, OH, Division of Fire, and spent more than 10 years as a firefighter assigned to Ladder 15, Unit #2, in the city's Driving Park neighborhood. Upon promotion to lieutenant in 2014, Leffe was assigned to Engine Company 23, Unit #2, on the eastside. In January of 2020, Leffe attained the rank of captain and is currently a floating relief officer on Unit #2.
