Keith Niemann, a Firehouse contributing editor, has more than 20 years with Wichita Fire and is currently assigned as a captain in the training division. Niemann spent 17 years assigned to some of Wichita's busiest engines and ran the Wichita Fire Recruit Academy for the last three years. He’s a founding member and president of the Wichita Metro Area FOOLS of Oz and a founding committee member/instructor for the Wichita HOT.
