Tom Sitz is a 39-year veteran with the Painesville Township, OH, Fire Department with the last 27 years as an engine officer. He spent all of his time riding on 2, 3, and 4 firefighter engine companies. Sitz is a two time presenter at Firehouse Expo Columbus and a 15-time presenter at FDIC. He has authored numerous articles for Fire Engineering Magazine and has presented in numerous states and has been an instructor for the past 29 years for a fire academy and local community college. Sitz has also been a technical book reviewer for Brady and Delmar publishing.
