Basic Aid for the Responder K9

B.A.R.K. is a first aid course that is specifically designed with the emergency responder canine's health and survivability in mind. This course is designed to prepare the canine handler or medical provider with easy to follow and easy to remember set of steps to employ life-saving interventions during point of wounding care. Topics such as identification and treatment of massive bleeding, airway management, torso, abdominal, and skeletal trauma will be discussed as well as other life-saving interventions. Through a combination of hands-on training, lectures, and discussions, participants will gain the crucial skills needed to potentially save their canine's life.
