This class will demonstrate the continued importance of RIT training in the fire service. Stations will be setup to both provide several different methods and add "tools for the tool box" to be applied if presented with these particular scenarios. Examples of stations that will be taught: the Nance Drill(Columbus), Polaski Drill(Columbus), Pittsburgh drill to name a few stations. The attendee will gain new knowledge or to reinforce current knowledge within the subject. Attendees will also have the ability to acquire new knowledge of specialized tools that can be or could be useful in a "Mayday" event.
