Fire Life Training Associates
Todd Edwards is the founder, COO and lead facilitator Fire-Life Training Associates, and Breaking Barriers. Edwards has more than 36 years of experience in the fire services, serving more than 30 years with Atlanta Fire Rescue. During his career with Atlanta, he held a variety of positions including captain, battalion chief and assistant fire chief. While with Atlanta, Edwards developed and taught the majority of the city training curriculum and co-developed the city standard operating guidelines. For the past 20 years, Edwards has also been an adjunct instructor for the Georgia Fire Academy. He has also developed countless training programs currently being utilized by numerous departments, specializing in department-based curriculums for training and fireground operations. In 2016, he started Fire-Life Training Associates, and Breaking Barriers, which specializes in disabilities awareness training for first responders, and interactive training for families with children that have special needs.
