Jay Dixon is a lieutenant with the Torrington, CT, Fire Department. He has been an educator since 2000, an instructor for the Hartford County Fire School and was a PT instructor for the CT Fire Academy. Dixon has created numerous instructional programs, taught regionally and nationally, and is vice president of the CT FOOLS chapter in charge of its training activities.
