The rEVolution is upon us with Electric Vehicles and Li Ion Batteries and the Fire Service has been neglected in proper training and tactical preparedness.  This course is designed to change that.  Come interact with the fire service specialists who are leading the industry in conducting  live fire tests on Li Ion battery systems.  Real world tactics based on real world experience. Students will participate in a highly interactive presentation aimed at developing a complete understanding of Electric Vehicle Response and Hazard Management. Students will receive highly interactive instructional periods to safely identify and engage with HEV’s in all potential hazard conditions. This includes micro mobile devices such as E bikes, drones, and E scooters.  Practical Exercises allow students to perform shutdown procedures, EV system orientation and understand principles for EV suppression and extrication techniques.
