Maurice "Mo" Davis is a veteran member of the Houston Fire Department, currently assigned as a district chief. Previously, he served as a senior captain on a heavy rescue, one of three rescue trucks in Houston. David spent much of his career as a senior captain on Ladder 46 - on of the the top five busiest trucks in the city - and served as captain in Engine 46 - the leader in the city for working fires and responses. Davis has served as a training officer, has trained new district fire chiefs. While he specializes in technical rescue, his passion is sharing leadership, and strategy and tactics information to up-and-coming officers. He served as an adjunct professor with San Jacinto, TX, Junior College in the Fire Protection Division. He holds an MS degree from the University of Houston.
