Ragan Underwood is an Army veteran who joined the fire service in 2005. He is currently a captain at St George Fire Protection District, where he has served all 17 years of his service. Underwood has been heavily involved in the training division since 2018. He has been able to perform as an adjunct instructor in every recruit academy since that time. Underwood is a cofounder of the L.I.F.T Conference and the St George Firefighters Foundation, which operates as a nonprofit organization that brings advanced fire training to the state of Louisiana at minimum cost.
