Tim O'Connor is a firefighter/EMT in a combination department in Northern New Castle County, DE. He has also been a volunteer for the past 19 years and has held positions up to and including deputy chief. O'Connor is lead instructor with Back to Basics Firefighter Training and an instructor with Task Force 1 and the Delaware State Fire School focusing on basic and advanced vehicle rescue. He holds an associate’s degree in fire science from Columbia Southern University. O'Connor has written articles published in Firehouse and Fire Engineering magazines and has taught at various conferences around the country including Firehouse Expo, FDIC and various local conferences.
