| Kenneth Crosswhite Deputy Chief, Public Information and Community Affairs, District of Columbia Fire & EMS Department, Washington, D.C.  Kenneth Crosswhite, a 22 year veteran of the DC FD, manages the city-wide fire hydrant inspection program, Smoke Alarm Verification & Utilization (SAVU) Program, Customer Services Units (CSU) and a host of community outreach and safety education initiatives, in addition to being a departmental spokesperson. Chief Crosswhite has progressed through the ranks and has served numerous positions within the Operations and Administrative Divisions. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
