| William D. Hayes National Advocate Program Manager NFFF and Dir of Public Info and Com Affairs for the DC Fire and EMS  William D. Hayes is a graduate of the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program, an adjunct instructor for the Georgia Fire Academy, and holds elected positions in many of Georgia's fire service associations. He recently served as fire chief for the city of Riverdale in the Metro Atlanta area prior to taking the position with NFFF.
