| Joseph Castro Battalion Chief Los Angeles FD, CA  Joseph Castro is a 31 year veteran, currently Commander of the LAFD's Critical Incident Planning and Training Section. He is responsible for a staff of 11 captains and civilian staff that are responsible for the education of the entire Los Angeles Urban Area in relation to executive level incident command training and NIMS compliance. Chief Castro has worked at many of the most active areas in the City of Los Angeles and has been in command at literally thousands of emergency incidents. He has received the department's highest honor, the LAFD Medal of Valor for bravery.
