| SPEAKER STATION: Harry R. Carter CFO, MIFireE  Harry R. Carter, Ph.D., CFO, MIFireE, is a veteran fire service professional. He is Chairman of the Board of Fire Commissioners for Howell Township Fire District #2, and a contributing editor for Firehouse Magazine. He enjoyed a 26-year career with the Newark, NJ FD serving as a division commander, a suppression division battalion chief, chief of training, and commander of the hazardous materials response team. He has also had a long career with the Adelphia Fire Company in Howell Township, NJ. He served as fire chief and training officer and currently serves as an active Life Member and is the fire company chaplain. He has authored ten books and has written nearly 2,000 magazine, web and journal articles.
