Gasaway, Ph.D., EFO, CFO, Gasaway Consulting Group, has served as a fire chief for 22 years during a career that spanned three decades and traversed six emergency services organizations in WV, OH, and MN. Gasaway holds Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees in finance, economics, business administration and leadership. He is also a graduate of the prestigious National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program. Gasaway has authored more than 80 journal articles, books and book chapters on organizational leadership, strategy and tactics, situation awareness, and decision making under stress.
