| Dennis Compton Chief (ret.) Mesa, AZ, FD; IFSTA  Dennis Compton, Chief (ret.), Mesa, AZ, FD and International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA), was the fire chief in Mesa, AZ for five years and assistant Fire chief in Phoenix, AZ where he served for twenty-seven years. Dennis has served as Chairman of the Executive Board of IFSTA, and Chairman of the CFSI National Advisory Committee. He is currently Chairman of the NFFF Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Home Safety Council Board of Directors. He has authored several books and many articles for various publications.
