| Daniel Byrne Lieutenant, Fire Marshal Beaufort FD, SC  Daniel Byrne is a third generation firefighter and NFA alumni with over 14 years of fire service experience and has been conducting public relations programs for over 15 years. He holds both an AS and BS in Fire Science, and is a Fire & Life Safety Educator I instructor, both Fire Officer and Instructor II, as well as a volunteer paramedic with Beaufort County EMS. The Beaufort FD has been the recipient of both state and local awards for educational programs and partnerships. Byrne is a former Marine recruiter who has over 21 years of military service and currently with the Georgia Air National Guard Fire Protection Division. He has been published in Firehouse Magazine and Firehouse.Com on fire prevention, education and public relations topics.
